JUST FOUND OUT THAT YOU’RE PREGNANT?
WORRIED ABOUT THE CHANGES A PREGNANCY WILL MEAN FOR YOU?

Having a child may be something you want in the future, or not at all. Perhaps because of financial difficulties, relationship problems, or other circumstances your pregnancy could be considered a crisis. Sometimes, even when you do everything right, pregnancy happens.

You may feel like abortion is your only option, but before you go down that path, remember that there are other options that you should consider or explore. There are many organisations who want to support you.

These groups are here to support life – and that includes yours. They want to help you eliminate the crisis in your pregnancy through counselling, financial services, or adoption agencies. This page includes a few safe, non-judgemental agencies around the countries. They are not necessarily affiliated to the Prolife cause, but they are groups that you can go to for advice before you make a decision, and if you like, someone from Prolife New Zealand can help you liaise with them. Just use the contact us function or message us on facebook.

These groups are independent from PLNZ and may hold views which are different to PLNZ. However, they will certainly be able to support you through your pregnancy and possibly even beyond.

Crisis Pregnancy Support works by:

  • Empowering women to explore ways of overcoming both real and perceived barriers to continuing their pregnancy.
  • Giving caring and practical support. When necessary financial support can be accessed through a trust in Wellington.
  • Helping to find emergency accommodation when a women needs a space free from pressure to reflect and explore her feelings.
